The Reading Needs and Influencing Factors of Chinese Elderly Adults in National Reading Activities

With the acceleration of aging process in China, reading as a means addressing spiritual needs elderly cannot be disregarded. Exploring current situation and factors that influence among is essential for establishing national society. Based on principle supply equilibrium demand, this study uses method questionnaire interview research with older adults over age 60 target to explore needs, intention, habits well their affecting factors. The results showed people China have high willingness read some awareness consumption, but low consume at same time. initiative behavior not strong daily life. also discovered behaviors are influenced by such education level, firmly established style, few channels, costs, so on.
